This was our first cottage trip as a family (kids ages 3 and 5 yrs.) It was a such a great and memorable trip. Although we did have our fair share of rain, the cottage itself is spacious and the kids had so much fun playing games/puzzles in various places in the cottage. There are so many beautiful spots in the cottage to curl up with a book and favourite beverage and enjoy the views. The dock was great for swimming around and the fact that a canoe was available for us was an added bonus. For us it was the perfect combination of comfort but also be able to explore the outdoors as a young family. Laura was very responsive and a great host. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was amazing - every little detail is spot on! It exceeded our expectations. Great views looking over the lake and very peaceful. A fantastic combination of rustic and luxury, with lots of spots to sit and admire the lake. The dock is also super well equipped for enjoying the water. We loved the paddle boards and kayaks. The master bedroom is beautiful. Laura was very responsive, which was also great! Highly recommend - 11/10!

The H2H Cottage Co. Lake Kennisis property was my pied-de-terre for a Haliburton Highlands work trip. What a relaxing atmosphere the cottage was. From the inspiring beautiful view of the lake from above the trees from almost every room, to the cozy vibes all over the cottage, this was perfect for me to work AND to recharge a little. The WIFI was always good (to work and to stream) and there are plenty of work spots in the cottage - including a big monitor, keyboard and mouse in a private office that you can hook up to(!). The over-the-top attention to design detail, the comfortable beds and linens and comfy couches and chairs made me so excited to come back to the cottage at the end of the work day. The master suite has such an amazing view of the lake, I never drew the blinds and welcomed the sunrise. The master bath has everything you need and way more. Two of the best parts about the master suite were the fireplace and the WALK-IN CLOSET!! Laura was a very nice and responsive host. The area is stunning and there is plenty of cool stuff to do in the region in every season. Can't wait to visit again! Thank you, Laura!!

We recently spent theeee most spectacular and romantic weekend away that I think we have ever had. Curtesy and all thanks to Laura and her beautiful cottage. This cottage perched on top of a hill, amongst the trees, overlooking Little Kennisis, is exactly what we needed to reconnect and have some fun. We were greeted with wine, a smores kit, and the coziest smelling custom candle. From the jaw-dropping views, fireplaces, fully equipped kitchen, to the jet tub, we never wanted to leave. The cottage is clean, warm, and comfortable. She has is so sweet and caring. The cottage is the perfect base for a couple, friends, and family to enjoy nearby Haliburton Forest, Yours Outdoors experiences and the surrounding Haliburton Highlands.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at H2H, every minute of it! The architecture of the cottage is amazing and we soaked in the spectacular views from every room. There are so many well designed rooms to hang out in and our family enjoyed each one. We also appreciated the great shower/bath, fully stocked kitchen, stone fireplaces, wood accents, very comfortable furniture, lots of storage space and the many windows with insane views! Winter is a great time to visit - bonfires, see the wolves, ski, snowshoe, dogsled etc. Laura has really thought of everything and is a super helpful and considerate host. Thank you! We really look forward to visiting your beautiful cottage again!

This cottage is amazing - exactly as described and yet more spacious than imagined. The living areas are well-furnished and tastefully decorated, and the fireplaces and heated floors kept the space cozy. The linens and beds were very luxurious and the kitchen was well stocked (my kids thought I had transported our entire spice rack to the cottage). The main bath was a joy - with a lovely river rock shower and jacuzzi tub. The area is lovely with SO MUCH TO DO! We all had a wonderful, relaxing time and will definitely be back!

Laura is an excellent host and ensured that we had everything we needed to enjoy her spectacular cottage overlooking the lake. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs. BBQ in great condition. Three fireplaces to cozy up around and many games to choose from. Getting down to the dock is a winding forest bathing stroll with several lovely resting spots to enjoy. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and SUP’s everyday and reading dockside in comfy muskoka chairs was so peaceful. The campfire set up made for a beautiful ending to the day. Our daughter worked in the well equipped office overlooking the lake & said she had such a beautiful view that she was even more productive because of it. Whether it was evening poker or a movie, heading out afterwards for star gazing was the perfect ending to our day! A visit to the wolf sanctuary just 5 minutes away followed by smoked meat poutine at the marina was much fun on an otherwise overcast day. Highly recommend H2H and will definitely visit again! The cottage is such well designed that very window has an unique and gorgeous view. We can explore finest autumn view with lake in the balcony, living room and even the bedroom. If you are looking for a cottage, something with class, this is must be your option. The internal is tastefully decorated in every tiny detail. Campfire, paddles and kayaks are also our entertainment plus. The leaves are at the most stunning time during this thanksgiving. Laura is great host. She responded our need instantly. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back

Laura's cottage is a dream. There is nothing more you could possibly need to stay here comfortably. Laura outfitted the cottage so it has everything you might ever need. Not only was she a gracious host, but the place is immaculate. Clean. Spiders? I didn't see any. Dust? Nope, not at H2H!! I loved the little touches, like the welcome gift for humans (and pups!). The white comfortable duvets. The full spice rack. Also, you just can't beat the view. The view is incomparable. I think dusk might be my new favourite time- view at dusk on the deck is forever imprinted in my memory. If you're not sure to book here, trust me. It's magical.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Kennisis cottage.it is luxurious home in a gorgeous setting. It is made with an attention to detail that you would find only in a five star plus resort. The cottage is elegant and very spacious, with a great view on the lake. The grounds are beautiful and the waterfront as well.. We had an amazing time for our family reunion. Everything was curetted to make you feel comfortable, and well cared for. The host, Laura is friendly, attentive and committed to provide you with an amazing experience.

We spent a week this glorious cottage in August. We loved every second of it. We've rented cottages all over Ontario and we all agreed that this was the best by far. There are too many positives to list, but I will say that this: this place likely has the best views in Haliburton. If you're reading this and considering booking this place, I suggest you do so quickly as it'll undoubtedly book up quickly.

My husband and I decided to take our dog Jaxon on vacation with us. We lucked out with H2H Cottage at Kennisis Lake. This is a pet friendly jem of a cottage and Laura was a fantastic host. She was prompt to respond to all our questions and ensured we were comfortable throughout our trip. The cottage itself is gorgeous (beautifully styled) and fully stocked (I have spice drawer envy) with beautiful waterfront views from two decks! We kayaked and paddle boarded while Jaxon swam his heart out. It was an enriching experience for our little family. Now we are back at home and longing to be back at Kennisis. Thank you Laura for trusting us with your cottage. We will be back!

The cottage is beautiful, bright, airy, comfortable, and has the most wonderful cross-breezes. The view across the lake is phenomenal--better than many official look-outs across cottage country. There are so many lovely spaces throughout the cottage: large comfy couches for family gatherings, but also spaces for more intimate conversations or private quiet time. The cottage was meticulously clean when we arrived, and everything was in order for us to start enjoying the cottage and the beautiful lake immediately. The owner is very attentive and committed to her guests.

This was our second time staying at the property with our kids and it was just as wonderful as the first. The cottage is bright and cheerful and has every amenity you could need for a relaxing cottage stay. We made good use of the home office for work and both the tech set up and WIFI are very reliable. The views from both outdoor decks are stunning and we loved the addition of the swings on the lower deck this year. We had some good campfires in the fire pit and relaxing daily kayaking/SUP/canoe paddles. A very relaxing vacation and exactly what we needed. Laura is a phenomenal host - very responsive, super helpful and totally committed to ensuring her guests have the best possible stay. Thanks again for everything Laura and we will for sure be back again!

HIGHLY recommend booking H2H Kennisis lakefront cabin! From the location, to the cottage, to the host, everything was absolutely perfect! Laura is amazing, she has now raised the bar so high I'm not sure how we will ever be able to stay anywhere else. She has thought of absolutely everything, down to the smallest details. She was so easy to communicate with, friendly, and a great resource for daily activities. We travelled with our 6 year old daughter and 1.5 year old son. The cottage was family friendly and Laura even suggested fun activities for the kids to do in the area. We had the best experience and will certainly be back again.

I have spent years renting cottages and this is by far one of the best ! The attention to detail in every nook and cranny of this space, indoors and out, has brought comfort , peace and pleasure during my stay . From the fully loaded kitchen to the dockside that has kayaks and paddleboards where i certainly did a lot of reflection on this peaceful lake . It is very obvious the owner is passionate about her place and to her guests . I mean she has a swing on one of the balconies,, i sat there watching the sunrise each morning ... to these oversized comfy chairs to catch up on some books i neglected and don't get me started on the master bedroom/ensuite... talk about getting spoiled .... to the special treats she left for her guests .. This place is a keeper and I will definitely rent again .. and again

WHAT A COTTAGE!!! H2H Cottage was incredible, my only regret was not booking for a few extra days. To start, the view is simply incredible. You get the most epic sunrises. Wake up, make coffee and head outside to the upper deck to watch the sun peek over the trees. Speaking of decks... there is not 1 but 4 deck/dock areas to hang out on! The upper deck has a lovely dining area - great for any meal. There is a lower deck with the cutest hammock swings (tulum vibes) - a great spot to read a book. Make your way down to the the lake and you will find another deck with muskoka chairs. and the main dock area with lots of watersport activities (kayaks and paddleboards). I recommend going out at sunset or sunrise when it's nice and calm. There are also some cute hammocks along the walk down to the water as well - more spots to read books or take a nap. I love the decor of the cottage - has a "cottagy" vibe with a mix of modern. The primary bedroom has a stunning view of the lake.... so nice to wake up to. Honestly though my fave was the "spa like" bathtub with jets.... and candles... sooooo relaxing... i played some nice music and just zenned out for an hour! The cottage overall is quite large, there is an office space for those remote workers, which i loved because i had to do a bit of work while I was there. The kitchen is stocked with all the basics and more... coffee, sugar, spices, oils, etc. things to do nearby: haliburton cloud forest! thanks Laura!!!
