Or vice versa!! So much to enjoy, all less than a 10-minute drive away from your cottage home away from home in Haliburton Highlands!
At the wolf centre, guests can explore the indoor education centre and its many museum displays, watch a documentary in the theatre, shop at the gift shop, or take part in the public wolf howls program on Thursday evenings in July and August. This 1-hour program includes staff presentations about wolves, a short hike, and an attempt to get the resident pack to howl back. There is no reservation required for this event, so come and join in at the Seminar Building at Base Camp (1095 Redkenn Rd). Admission is by donation only. No reservations required – just show up and enjoy!

Haliburton Forest Private Wolf Howls
Our rental cottage offers you a chance to experience the thrill of wolves howling in unison! Only a 10-minute drive away! You can spend 1 - 1.5 hours with Haliburton Forest staff on an evening hike through the forest. Tour the Wolf Centre, get up close with our resident wolf pack and learn about their behavior as our guides howl to them from just the right spot. You will leave feeling educated, inspired, and empowered after your wildlife experience offered only from September to June.
